Day 1:
Start from Munich’s Josef Strauss Airport.
A car with a driver will be waiting for you there.You will be drive to the 4-star Hotel Regentpark.
The group will be welcomed by the group assistant, Raphael, and he will assign your room. The guest is invited to enjoy a 3 course menu for dinner in the elegant hotel restaurant.
From this time on Raphael will stay at the hotel and will be available for questions, explanations and to give any help you need.
Day 2:
The group will be picked up after breakfast by the tour guide team and travel by bus through Germany and Austria to Italy.
During this scenic journey, a South Tyrolean tour guide will provide an explanation of the sights.
Arrival at the 4-stars Hotel Emmy at 3 p.m.
Refreshments will be available upon your arrival.
In the evening guests can relax with a wellness treatment.
Day 3:
The morning will begin with a light yoga lesson and a wellness treatment. At 11:00am the group will be picked up from the hotel. We will drive into the snow where horse sleighs will be waiting for us. This 1 hour trip will take you the snow-covered mountains. At around 2:30 pm, you will return to the hotel where you will be able to make use of the swimming pool and other facilities. The evening meal will be accompanied by live Tyrolean music.
Day 4:
The morning will begin with a light yoga lesson. At 10:00am the group will be picked up from the hotel.
This trip will go through the mountains to Bolzano, the capital of South Tyrol. Stop we will at the most important place "Waltherplatz" in the shadow of the "Maria Himmelsfahrt" cathedral which dates from the 6th century.
* At the traditional Christmas market on the "Waltherplatz" we will attend a live Christmas concert.
Lunch will be served at a traditional restaurant where a variety of local soups will be served. From there, we will be picked up for a guided city tour that will show us Bolzano in all its beauty.This tour will end at the Oetzi Museum.
From 5:00pm to 7:00pm the group will have free time to explore the city. We will gather again at the
"Waltherplatz". After enjoying Italian coffee and cake, we will leave and return back to the hotel by bus.
* After which we will gather again at the Christmas market on the "Waltherplatz".
After enjoying a "Glühwein" we will leave and return back to the hotel by bus.
Day 5:
The morning will begin with a light yoga lesson and a wellness treatment. At 11:00am the group will be picked up from the hotel. We will drive to the "Saiser" pasture ski lift where we will be able to enjoy the sunshine and the panoramic mountain tops for about 3 hours. In the evening, the group will be invited to watch the sport of curling. After that, there will be an opportunity to skate or walk on natural ice.
At 8:00pm we will return to the hotel.
Day 6:
The morning will begin with a light yoga lesson.
At 10:00 am the group will be picked up and together we will visit the wine growing area of Caldaro.
The group will enjoy a tour at the world-famous wine producer Soelva. For 1 hour we will witness the distillation process of schnapps. At noon, a nearby restaurant will serve Tyrolean and international dishes. At 2:30pm, we will visit the Caldaro wine museum. Back at the winery, we will inspect the wine cellars and have a wine tasting with traditonal "schittelbrot".
At 6:00pm, the group will be picked up and on the way back we will make a brief stop to see the view of Bolzano by night.
At around 8:00pm, we will return to the hotel.
Day 7:
The morning will begin with a light yoga lesson and a wellness treatment. At 11:00am the popular Italian game of "tombola" (bingo in English) will be played in the piano bar of the hotel.
Everyone is invited to join. Delicious local farm products will be given away as prizes. Between 2:00pm and 2:45pm, guests can join a lecture about "groedner" wood carving. At 3:30pm, the group will be picked up from the hotel. We will visit the Proessel castle which dates from the 5th century.
At 6:00pm the group will be brought back to the Hotel.
Day 8:
The morning will begin with a light yoga lesson . At 10:00am the group will be picked up from the hotel. On the way to the city of Merano, a South Tyrolean tour guide will explain the fortresses and castles that we pass along the way. At Merano's castle, dating from the 4th century we will enjoy a tour through the unique rooms.
Afterwards, the group is invited to try typical South Tyrolean dishes. Then, we will have a city tour accompanied by a professional guide. You will then have 2 hours to explore the town on your own. We will meet again in front of the theater.
After that, we will walk through the gate of the old city walls and we will fill our stomachs with a delicious Italian pizza in a local pizzeria.
At 8:00pm we will return to the hotel.
Day 9:
The morning will begin with a light yoga lesson and a wellness treatment. At 11:00am the group will be picked up.
Today, snowshoeing is on the program. For 2 hours, we will enjoy the snow in a different way.
At 3:00pm, the bus will bring us back to the hotel for a relaxing break. In the evening you can enjoy a lecture about South Tyrol's nature.
Day 10:
The morning will begin with a light yoga lesson. At 10:00am the group will be picked up. We will travel through the Eisack Valley to Neustift. There, we will visit Neustift monastery, dating from the 11th century. Also, worth seeing is the medieval library and the cathedral. In the afternoon, we will enjoy tea and other refreshments made at the monastary in the dining "stube".
At 3:00pm we will continue on our way to Bressanone, the 3rd largest city of South Tyrol.
After a 1 hour guided city tour, we will arrive at the local cathedral, dating from the 10th century.
* After a 1 hour guided city tour we will arrive at the Christmas market.
From here, you will be able to explore the city on your own until we meet again after 2 hours.
At 8:00pm we will return to the hotel.
Day 11:
The morning will begin with a light yoga lesson and a wellness treatment. After lunch, the tour guide will take the group for a walk through the village of Fiè.
During an afternoon tea and pastry break, our guests will be thanked for their visit and will be presented with the coat of arms of South Tyrol.
At 5:00pm, we will be back again at the hotel. Your last evening in South Tyrol will include a farewell dinner.
*Today is the most important Christian holiday of the year.
Like everywhere else, Christmas time will celebrated at the hotel as well.
Day 12:
After lunch, we will depart from the hotel. The group will be accompanied to the 4-star Hotel Regentpark in Munich.
Guests can relax at the hotel until their flight.
